After more than 30 years, Daniel Hill Riedel is reintroducing his picturebook, AND GOD SAID for a new generation of children and families—taking them on a pictorial journey through the creation of the heavens and the earth! And guiding them through the Bible’s teaching on our origins, identity, meaning, purpose and destiny—all starting in the beginning. The first edition was published by Wolgemuth & Hyatt Publishers, Inc in 1989.
In addition to the newly designed picturebook illustrating Genesis 1-2, this special 2nd edition of AND GOD SAID contains a new section on the importance of creation: Creation’s Answers to Life’s 5 Essential Questions. The answers to the questions of origins, identity, meaning, purpose and destiny tell the story of the connection between humanity’s origins and the meaning and purpose of our lives in our families, work and relationship with God and His creation today. Riedel shares what motivated him to republish this new version of AND GOD SAID, “Christian families are increasingly facing the challenges of a godless culture.
